Intellectual Property

Overview

The office of the Associate Vice President for Research (AVPR) works with researchers to document new research discoveries, inventions and technologies. The Intellectual Property Committee evaluates these discoveries for patentability and commercial potential.

OSP in conjunction with the Office of the Associate Vice President for Research and the Intellectual Property Committee functions as the IP manager for Texas State University.
