SPS Logo Society of Physics Students

We now have a currently active Texas State Society of Physics Students. Contact Dr. Donnelly for more information. (There is also a national Society of Physics Students.) The group holds weekly meetings, participates in local physics conferences, performs demonstrations at local schools and educational events and generally has a geeky good time.

MAES Logo Mexican American Engineers and Scientists

One of our most active student organizations on campus is the Mexican American Engineers and Scientists group also known as MAES which is open to all students. Among many activities, they hold an annual Science Extravaganza for middle school students each year.
