Anyone is invited to submit a poster on women in physics to the conference. These posters will be displayed throughout the conference and will be included in one of the regular poster sessions during the conference. Posters may highlight the work and life of a woman currently working in physics, historical information or biographies of women in physics, or other statistical research or workplace issues regarding women in physics. Each author submitting a poster will be awarded one free lunch ticket to the Saturday Networking Luncheon.
We will also have an invited talk by
Dr. Jill Marshall on the Women of the Manhattan Project.
Saturday Networking Luncheon – A short presentation on the status of women in physics and a networking luncheon will be held at a local restaurant. Each poster presentation will qualify for one free lunch admission.

Where: LBJ Student Center
Program: A time to meet other women in physics research and education from across the state. A brief program on the status of women in physics will be presented.
Cost: Free to poster presenters, $10 for others
