Ms. Mary Ann Zapata serves as Administrative Assistant III in the Office of Professional Development. She is responsible for coordinating details of Professional Development programming. She has been employed at Texas State University since 1989. She began her Texas State career as Administrative Assistant I in Career Services and was later promoted to Technician, Recruiting Services. Before coming to Texas State she spent 15 years as a teller at the Austin Area Teachers Federal Credit Union in San Marcos and as a bookkeeper with HEB in San Marcos, Waco, and Austin.
