Neurobics” is the science of mental exercise designed to create new neural pathways and stimulate the brain by engaging in novel activities. It is based upon the book “Keep Your Brain Alive” by Dr Lawrence Katz. The class is interactive and includes examples of exercises that are easily incorporated into everyday life activities. Fun and informative – for anyone who’s had a “senior moment!"
Meredith Patterson is a registered nurse with over 25 years of clinical experience in neuroscience. She holds a BSN from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and is certified as a rehabilitative registered nurse.
