What You Always Wanted to Know About Family Law But Were Afraid to Ask

At some point, just about everyone encounters a family law issue – either personally, in their own family or their circle of friends – it might be a divorce, a common law marriage, or an issue regarding their spouse (or ex-spouse), children, grandchildren, stepchildren, etc. This workshop will provide basic information on various family law related topics, such as:

  • divorce
  • common law marriage
  • prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
  • name changes
  • parental rights and duties
  • grandparent’s rights
  • stepparent’s rights (including adoption)
  • child custody/conservatorship
  • child support
  • possession and access to children (visitation issues)

Registration opens approximately 3 weeks prior and closes 1 week prior.
