Success as a Supervisor

 supervisor

The person most influential in the motivation level of employees is the supervisor or team leader followed by co-workers, support personnel, higher management, and the organization itself, i.e., structure, policies, and systems.  If you have ever wondered about how to motivate and influence others, this workshop will help.  You will learn how to improve communication outcomes, increase productivity, promote self-awareness and acceptance of differences, enhance individual and team performance, and prevent/reduce conflict.

Learning Objectives:
  • Interact with team members on a day-to-day basis that will maintain and enhance their self-esteem
  • Base discussions about performance and work habits on behavior rather than on personalities and attitudes
  • Involve team members in goal setting, problem solving and decision-making
  • Understand the importance of situational communication
  • Communicate with difficult people
  • Create a climate of open communication
  • Motivate your people to listen and respond
