This workshop is general training for contracted services under $25,000. The targeted audience is departmental administrative assistants and other new personnel who process contracts and payment vouchers. The material is regularly updated, so it is also beneficial for existing personnel, or those who need a refresher.
The topics covered will be:
1. Contracted personal services and independent contractors
2. Vendor maintenance
3. Purchase requisitions and contracts
4. Payables--paying contractors and other types of payments
5. Paying foreign visitors and other tax issues
