GAMS provides a web-based means to create, track, approve, and submit proposals to sponsoring agencies. This basic training course is intended for those individuals who are responsible for creating a basic proposal, developing a budget in the proposal process, completing forms for sponsor submission, and learning the route for approval. The system also stores information associated with contracts and subcontracts.

Upon completion, participants will understand how to:

• Log in to GAMS, develop a basic proposal, and budget;
• Review multi-year budgets, upload scientific and scope of work documents, and initiate the internal routing process.
