This workshop for SUPERVISORY staff will provide valuable insight on the topics of illegal discrimination, harassment, retaliation and the responsibilities of supervisors. Participants will learn how to apply:
• EEO Laws
• Primary legal theories for determining discrimination under EEO Law
• EEOC guidelines defining sexual harassment
• Retaliation defense procedures
• Supervisor responsibilities
This program satisfies the State of Texas requirement that employees attend EEO training every two years; participants must be present for the entire workshop in order to receive credit.
This course could quality for 3.5 CPE credits through the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy for Certified Public Accountants (CPAs).
