GAMS provides a web-based means to create, track, approve, and submit proposals to sponsoring agencies. This basic training course is intended for those individuals who are responsible for creating a basic proposal, developing a budget in the proposal process, completing forms for sponsor submission, and learning the route for approval. The system will also house information associated with contracts and subcontracts.
Upon completion, participants will understand how to:
• log in to GAMS, develop a basic proposal, and budget.
• review budget, replicate budget, upload scientific and other proposal related documents, and edit forms.
• initiate the routing and approve a complete proposal.
