Although it is not in many of our job descriptions, Texas State faculty and staff are often asked to serve as student organization advisors. Without a background in student development, it can be difficult to navigate the best way to empower these organizations and student leaders.
This workshop serves to promote effective organizational advising skills and ideas through engaging activities, practical application, and collaborative discussion. Faculty and staff who are thinking about or currently advising student organizations are encouraged to attend this workshop.
