Workshop description
This workshop is designed to inform parents about what is really going on with today's adolescents. Popular media would lead you to believe that teenagers today are out of control. As a result, many parents think adolescence will be a challenging time, characterized by increasing distance and conflict.
This interactive session will put things into perspective and will provide parents with tools to:
- Deal with the changes adolescents experience
- Maintain open lines of communication
- Approach conflict in a positive way
Coordinated by Ms. Rose Trevino, Work Life Coordinator, Human Resources
