This workshop will cover how to:
• control bleeding
• splint a possible broken bone
• care for a possible head or neck injury
• care for sudden illnesses
• supervisor responsibilities
Participants who complete this workshop will be certified* for 2 years in
National Safety Council First Aid/CPR/AED. Participants must be present for the entire 6 hour workshop, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 - 4 p.m.
This workshop is limited to 12 participants.
*Participants who desire National Safety Council certification in First Aid and CPR are required to buy the National Safety Council First Aid/CPR course book. The book is available in the University Bookstore where Texas State faculty and staff receive a discount with University ID.
