New Employee Orientation is a two-part program for new employees at Texas State University.  The first part of New Employee Orientation - NEO I is conducted by Texas State Human Resources and is held on the first Monday morning of employment at Texas State in JCK 460 from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon.  The morning will be spent handling paperwork essential to new employees.

New Employee Orientation - NEO II is designed to include information and presentations from individuals in a variety of offices across campus in order to make employees feel welcome and have a basic understanding of the university and its benefits and opportunities associated with employment at Texas State.  NEO II is held the second Friday of every month in JCK 460 from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon for all employees hired at Texas State during the previous four weeks.  Breakfast is provided along with break snacks during the course of the morning.  All employees must attend this session within thirty days of employment in order to satisfy state mandates.
