Non-Texas State Sponsored Off-Campus Workshops

The following agencies offer workshops in the central Texas area.  This listing is given for those Texas State offices who are in need of employee workshops other than those currently being offered on campus.  Texas State offices are responsible for registration as well as transportation costs for employees attending any of these workshops.

Dale Carnegie offers on-site solutions and open enrollment courses and seminars throughout the area. Open enrollment classes are regularly offered. In addition, corporate consultants will create customized solutions to assist in achieving the specific objectives and goals of an organization.  Course prices range from $29 for a two-hour workshop to $1795 for twelve sessions.

Fred Pryor and Career Track Seminars are divisions of PARK University Enterprises, Inc., located in Parkville, Missouri with a new stand-alone Park University Campus in Austin, TX.  Many of the one-day workshops cost between $99-299 and are offered at Texas locations, including Austin and San Antonio.

National Seminars Group/Padgett-Thompson/Rockhurst Conferences are divisions of Rockhurst University Continuing Education Center, Inc.  Many of the one-day workshops cost between $139-199 and are offered at many locations in Texas, including Austin and San Antonio.

Austin classes are held in the training facility at One Highland Center, located at 314 E. Highland Mall Boulevard in Austin.  Most courses are $185 for an all-day workshop.

Classes in Austin are held at 9420 Research Blvd, Echelon III, Suite 200 with classes in IT Training, Microsoft Training, Business Training, and Desktop Applications. Most one-day sessions cost between $250-600. Multiple day courses are also offered.

The Professional Development Center is a cost-recovery department within the Division of Continuing and Innovative Education and is not a subsidiary of other schools and colleges in the University.  Many of the one-day workshops cost between $275-300 and are held on the main UT campus.
