Welcome to the Office of Professional Development
On our website you will find current workshop offerings, information for presenting a workshop via our office, resources, and information on room reservations. We invite you to make use of the information contained here as a fulfillment of Texas State's belief in supporting life-long learning for all employees. If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to contact us.The Office of Professional Development is a part of the Center for Professional Excellence, which also includes programming from Academic Development and Assessment; both Offices are in the Provost/Academic Affairs Division. Programming is also included from Instructional Technologies Support in the Division of Information Technology.
The Professional Development Advisory Council encourages collaboration among the teaching, training and development entities on campus.

Texas State University is a charter member of the National Consortium for Continuous Improvement. Organized in 2000, over 90 members enjoy the opportunity to network and share best practices concerning common issues.
