Dear Parents,
When our daughter, Krystal, was an incoming freshman at Texas State, we learned about the Parents Association and decided to join. Without a doubt, that was one of the best decisions we’ve made. It allowed us to be a part of her university journey, to stay informed and have a connection at Texas State while giving her the freedom she needed to learn and mature and begin to make her own decisions about her education and future. She graduated with honors in December 2007, earning a degree in Dance with a minor in Psychology.
Being a part of this organization has given us the opportunity to network with other parents, share ideas, and to learn from those who have already “been there!” We’ve enjoyed meeting and working with other parents in volunteer activities throughout each academic year.
We’re so thankful we stayed involved through Krystal’s college years. And she is glad we did, too! It has been such a wonderful experience to watch her blossom into the savvy young woman she is today. We're glad we didn't miss it!
