Austin-based technology company Freescale Semiconductor will bring its Internet of Tomorrow Tour to Texas State University March 12 for an interactive display of cutting-edge technology.
The Internet of Tomorrow Tour is a massive truck that transforms into a mobile tradeshow, demonstrating Freescale’s vision of a world that is not only connected, but also secure—the Internet of Tomorrow.
Featuring more than 120 demonstrations, The Internet of Tomorrow Tour gives visitors a hands-on opportunity to experience the secure technology behind self-driving cars, wearable devices, gesture recognition, telepresence robots and a host of other “smart” tech making the leap from concept to reality. Since launching in October 2014, the tour has traveled thousands of miles, made dozens of stops and engaged thousands of attendees across the United States.
Coming to Central Texas for the 2015 South by Southwest Interactive Festival, the tour will be open to visitors on March 12 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., north of the Quad and adjacent to the Comal Building on the Texas State campus. The event is free and open to the public.
