The Texas State University Division of Information Technology (VPIT/IT Security) will participate in this year’s National Cyber Security Awareness Month by hosting the annual Cyber Security Awareness Day conference on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
Both students and the community are invited to attend the event, which will be held in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will learn methods and practices for safe computing and protecting digital information.
The conference will feature professional speakers, educational presentations, and a look at the products and services provided by local technology-centered businesses. Food, games and prizes will also be offered to those in attendance.
