The Environmental Conservation Organization along with the Bike Cave of Texas State University-San Marcos will hold a “Bike to School Day” April 21 in observance of Earth Day.
The event encourages the Texas State community to ride a bicycle to class or work that day. Additionally, there will be activities on the Quad from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
The event will feature exhibits by a variety of different sustainability and bike-oriented businesses, agencies, and student and community organizations. Exhibitors will offer an array of volunteer opportunities, business opportunities, give-aways and educational interactive displays. Anyone bringing a blank t-shirt is eligible for a free screen printing.
This event is open to the public and parking is available in the LBJ student center garage.
