The Texas State University-San Marcos Staff Council is seeking nominations for three staff awards; the Earl Moseley Jr. Community Service Award, the Angelika Lester Diversity Award and the Tina G. Schultz Staff Excellence Award.  These awards are made possible through the generosity of Lawrence Estaville.  Award criteria include:

• The Earl Moseley Jr. Community Service Award recognizes a staff member who demonstrates philanthropic acts in the community.   
• The Angelika Lester Diversity Award recognizes a staff member whose work, life, and community service have demonstrated their efforts to promote the aspect and ideals of diversity.
• The Tina G. Schultz Staff Excellence Award recognizes a staff member who demonstrates outstanding work performance and whose actions, deeds, and work ethic during the previous year exemplifies overall excellence in university service.

If you know a staff member who you feel qualifies for any one of these awards, please complete the appropriate nomination form located on the Staff Council Web site.  The completed form and supporting documentation should be returned to Deborah Mathews at dm09@txstate.edu or by campus mail addressed to her attention at 320 Human Resources.  Please note, the submission deadline for all three awards is 5:00 p.m. August 28.
