John Siegenthaler shared his “Reflections of a Son of the Racist South” as he delivered Lyndon Baines Johnson Distinguished Lecture April 27 on the Texas State campus.

Siegenthaler is a journalist, activist and founder of the First Amendment Center at Vanderbilt University. By all accounts, his lecture was one of the most stirring in the longstanding LBJ Lecture Series.
