Austin-based Signature Science LLC has been awarded a $1.5 million contract from the Texas Workforce Commission to help Texas school board members, administrators and teachers respond to terrorist threats, the company announced.
Signature Science will conduct workshops on preparation and response to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive threats.
The one-year contract will be extended two more years if funding is available.
