La Feria del Mariachi 2007
Dear Mariachi
Educator:
Texas State University is proud to
present “La Feria del Mariachi 2007.”
This event will be held on our campus April 28-29. Last year’s
event was
extremely successful and we hope that this year will be nothing short
of the same.
We sincerely look forward to the participation of your mariachi.
The festivities will include workshops taught by the best teachers in
the area along with some Texas State Faculty,
a scholastic Mariachi competition, and a concert featuring Mariachi
Campanas de America and the first
place winners from this year's Vargas Extraveganza, Texas State’s Mariach
Nueva Generacion. The Master of
Ceremonies for this event will be Alberto Alegre.

Please note that the deadline for applications and fees is April 16, 2007.
