MATHEMATICS AWARENESS-Recognizing the importance of mathematics to science, technology, engineering, art and all learning, Mayor Susan Narvaiz proclaims April as Mathematics Awareness Month in San Marcos. Receiving the proclamation are Texas State University math professors who sponsor outreach to the San Marcos School District, summer math camps, and the internationally acclaimed San Marcos-based Texas Mathworks Team.
