This is the online application form for the Mathworks Teacher Professional Development program at Texas State University - San Marcos.
This two-week training program is held from June 5 - 16, 2017 in San Marcos Texas at a local school (TBD). In the mornings, participants will actively observe master teachers and students during the half-day Junior Summer Math Camp program. In the afternoon, teachers participate in class discussions and lectures covering pedagogy and teaching methods that tie into the Mathworks curriculum. All participating teachers will receive 45 hours of Continuing Professional Education credit.
Participants are invited to stay on-campus at Texas State University during the two-week training or may commute daily. Those staying on campus will live in on-campus residential housing (double occupancy with community restrooms) and should consider these items of interest.
Program cost is $3,000 and includes tuition, supplies, and room and board for the two weeks. Possible funding support available through grant funding and district support. Contact us for additional information.
