Sarah Canterbury
Sarah Canterbury ('05) works as an Office Management Specialist in the Political/Economic section of the U.S. Embassy in Monrovia, Liberia.

Matthew Warren ('04) just completed 18 months of military service in Iraq with the U.S. Army Reserves. He is currently enrolled in the M.A. in International Studies degree program here at Texas State.

Fara Abrams
Fara Abrams ('04) works for the Defense Intelligence Agency in the Washington, D.C. area as an Intelligence Scholar.

Jeffrey Kile
Jeffrey Kile ('97, '04) lives in the Washington D.C. area where he works for the Intelligence and Research Bureau at the U.S. Dept. of State.

Sandra Dahdah ('03) lives in Austin, Texas where she works for the city as an administrative senior in the International Center of Austin.

Theresa Ewadinger
Theresa Ewadinger ('03) left for Japan after graduation. She has spent the last 2 years teaching English conversation in a Japanese high school as part of the JET Program.

Andrea Powell
Andrea Powell ('99) is co-founder and director of FAIR Fund, an organization that works with NGOs to effect positive change in the lives of women and girls in developing countries around the globe. Read about her recent visit to Texas State.

Ron Johnson
Ronald Johnson ('97) completed a M.A. in International Studies from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), worked with the U.S. Department of State, and is currently serving as the interim pastor of South Hampton Baptist Church while in his final year of seminary at Boston University.

Amy Accord
Amy Accord ('95 ) earned an M.A. degree in Liberal Arts with an International Studies specialization after leaving Texas State and works as a Geo-Political Analyst for Air Security International. Learn more about her job.

Loretta Kneupper ('92) works as the Information Technology Training Coordinator in the Office of Information Systems of the United States Tax Court, a small federal court based in Washington D.C., that ajudicates tax controversies between taxpayers and the IRS.

Kelly Broome
Kelly Broome ('90) is a senior analyst in the 1st Information Operation Command with the U.S. Army. Kelly believes that the "background and knowledge I gained as an IS student prepared me well for work in Eastern Europe, the Caribbean, Central Asia as well as the Middle East."

Bill Steuer

William "Bill" Steuer ('89) joined the U.S. Department of State after graduation. His career thus far has taken him to Zaire, Bulgaria, various locations in Africa, and Barbados.


Geoffrey Connor
Geoffrey Connor ('85) is the president of Texas Global, which specialized in international access, strategy, and development. He's also a former Texas Secretary of State – the highest appointed office in Texas. Read about his time as Texas' 104th Secretary of State.
