Jose Manuel Espino (Class of 2007) is a partner in MioWorks, a thriving new business out of Portland, OR which offers software applications to small businesses. Having a Latin American Business Certificate led him to start a project which will offer Spanish software applications to the Latin American market.

Sarah Canterbury

Sarah Canterbury (Class of 2005) works as an Office Management Specialist in the U.S. Embassies in Munich, Germany and Belgrade, Serbia.

Matthew Warren (Class of 2004) just completed 18 months of military service in Iraq with the U.S. Army Reserves. He is currently enrolled in the M.A. in International Studies degree program here at Texas State.

Fara Abrams (Class of 2004) works for the Defense Intelligence Agency in the Washington, D.C. area as an Intelligence Scholar.

Jeffrey Kile

Jeffrey Kile (Classes of 1997 and 2004) lives in the Washington D.C. area where he works for the Intelligence and Research Bureau at the U.S. Dept. of State.

Sandra Dahdah (Class of 2003) lives in Austin, Texas where she works for the city as an administrative senior in the International Center of Austin.

Theresa Ewadinger

Theresa Ewadinger (Class of 2003) left for Japan after graduation. She has spent the last 2 years teaching English conversation in a Japanese high school as part of the JET Program.

Andrea Powell (Class of 1999) is co-founder and director of FAIR Fund, an organization that works with NGOs to affect positive change in the lives of women and girls in developing countries around the globe.

Ron Johnson

Ronald Johnson (Class of 1997) completed a Master of Arts in International Studies from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, worked with the U.S. Department of State, and is currently serving as the interim pastor of South Hampton Baptist Church while in his final year of seminary at Boston University.

Amy Accord

Amy Accord (Class of 1995) earned an Master of Arts in Liberal Arts with an International Studies specialization after leaving Texas State and works as a Geopolitical Analyst for Air Security International.

Michelle Brown (Class of 1993) lives in the Washington, D.C. area where she works for Refugees International.

Loretta Kneupper (Class of 1992) works as the Information Technology Training Coordinator in the Office of Information Systems of the United States Tax Court, a small federal court based in Washington D.C., that ajudicates tax controversies between taxpayers and the IRS.

Kelly Broome

Kelly Broome (Class of 1990) is a senior analyst in the 1st Information Operation Command with the U.S. Army. Kelly believes that the "background and knowledge I gained as an IS student prepared me well for work in Eastern Europe, the Caribbean, Central Asia as well as the Middle East."

Bill Steuer

William "Bill" Steuer (Class of 1989) joined the U.S. Department of State after graduation. His career has taken him to Zaire, Bulgaria, various locations in Africa, and Barbados.

Geoffrey Connor

Geoffrey Connor (Class of 1985) is the president of Texas Global, which specialized in international access, strategy, and development. He served as Texas Secretary of State from 2003 until 2005.
