Film Festival: 25th Anniversary of the End of the Cold War and the Fall of The Berlin War

Monday - Wednesday
November 10th-13th

The film festival presents movie that commemorate the 25th anniversary of the end of the Cold War. The movies are from the US, Germany, Romania, Hungary, Poland, France, and Bosnia. Each of them deals with various aspects of communism or its aftermath. 

All movies are free and have English subtitles. 13th

Awesome Experiences: How to Take Initiative and Make Opportunities at Texas State

Monday, November 10th

Students will be enlightened of the study abroad opportunities that are available to them. Student panelist will make a brief presentation on their study abroad experience. There will also be a Q&A after the presentation.

Study Abroad - (IEF) Scholarship Information Session

(The Study Abroad Office holds multiple IEF information sessions throughout each semester)

The IEF (International Education Fee) Scholarship is distributed in a competition to all undergraduate and graduate Texas State students who meet the established eligibility requirements. If you are interested in studying abroad come learn about the IEF scholarship.

International Faculty Luncheon Reception
Thursday, November 13th

In celebration of International Education Week (IEW) 2014 and in the spirit of the Thanksgiving Holiday, the International Office would like to honor and recognize Texas State’s international faculty and J-1 scholars with a luncheon reception. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food will be provided.

We would also like to extend our invitation to those faculty members who have significant international involvements in their work at Texas State as well as any faculty member who feels he or she would benefit from attending the reception.

Audience: This event is open to faculty only.
