Institutional TOEFL Test (PBT)

An institutional, paper-based TOEFL test is offered once per semester (in April, July, and November) on the campus of Texas State University-San Marcos for all eligible and registered students.  The results of this test are only accepted by Texas State University. The testing times traditionally were in the months of April, July, and November.  The test fee is $45.00 and consists of the following test sections:

• Listening comprehension (50 questions, 30-40 minutes)
• Structure and written expression (grammar) (40 questions, 25 minutes)
• Reading comprehension (50 questions, 55 minutes)
• NO writing section
