TSIE Policy:
Students initially entering the U.S. on a Texas State Intensive English (TSIE) program I-20 and holding a visa with the school name as Texas State University-San Marcos can report to TSIE up to 30 days prior to the program start date on their I-20. If a student arrives after the program start date (indicated on his/her I-20), he or she must report to TSIE within 15 days in order to remain in status. A student holding a TSIE I-20 and visa must attend one full semester (16 weeks for Fall or Spring, and 10 weeks for summer) before requesting to transfer to another school or program.
