How to Apply to the Intensive English Program (IEP)
Students interested in studying in the intensive English program should follow these directions:
- Review the programs that TSIE offers here and then decide which one best suits your needs and interests.
- Apply to the IEP by completing the online application form.
- Pay the $55 application fee online here.
- TSIE will notify you by email or phone about the creation of your Form I-20's (if you need one) as well as when you need to take the TSIE Placement Tests and register for classes. Please keep in contact with the TSIE office regularly, especially if you have any questions.
How to Apply to Texas State and/or the Pre-Bridge or Bridge Programs
Students interested in studying at Texas State for an academic degree, but may need some English instruction, should follow these directions: Note that in each of these
- Review the programs that TSIE offers here and then decide which one best suits your needs and interests.
- Review the requirements for admission as an international student at the appropriate link below:
- Submit an application to Texas State online at www.ApplyTexas.org
- Texas State's admission office will notify you by email or phone about the creation of your Form I-20's (if you need one) as well as any documents you may need to provide to complete your application.
- When accepted, TSIE will notify you of when you need to take the TSIE Placement Tests and register for classes. Please keep in contact with the admission offices and the TSIE office regularly, especially if you have any questions.
