• Initial Placement Testing:
  - Approximately 3 hours in length (including breaks)
  - 5 Parts Total:
      1.  Grammar (25 minutes)
      2.  Reading (35 minutes)
      3.  Listening (20 minutes)
      4.  Writing (1 hour)
      5.  Interview (10 minutes)

• Available Courses:
   Grammar
   Listening/Speaking/Pronunciation
   Writing
   Reading and American culture

• Intensive Schedule:
   Monday through Thursday for 20 total university contact hours.

• Levels:
   5 course levels from a beginning level (1500) to an advanced level (5500):
      - Grammar Skills: 1500, 2500, 3500, 4500, 5500
      - Oral Skills:  1500, 2500, 3500, 4500, 5500
      - Reading Skills:  1500, 2500, 3500, 4500, 5500
      - Writing Skills:  1500, 2500, 3500, 4500, 5500

• Class Sizes:
   Approximately 10 students per class.

• TOEFL Preparation Class:
   Available for full-semester students enrolled in 2 or more TSIE courses.

• Institutional TOEFL:
   Available for eligible students in the months of April, July, and November.

• Evaluation and Certificate:
   Both a personal evaluation and a certificate of completion are received upon successful completion of the TSIE
   program.

• Prospective Student Age Requirement:
  Prospective students must be at least 18 years old.

• TSIE Admission vs. Degree Admission:
   Admission to the TSIE program does not guarantee admission to degree programs.
