Please select and write an essay on one of these topics:

1. Describe a setting in which you have collaborated or interacted with people whose experiences and/or beliefs differ from yours. Address your initial response and how you were or were not changed by this experience.

2. Describe a circumstance, obstacle or conflict in your life and the skills and resources you used to resolve it. Were you changed by this experience? If so, how?

3. Considering your lifetime goals, discuss how your current and future academic and extra-curricular activities might help you achieve your goals.

4. Choose an issue of importance to you - the issue could be personal, school related, local, political, or international in scope - and write an essay in which you explain the significance of that issue to yourself, your family, your community, or your generation.

5. Personal interaction with works of art, objects, images and spaces can be so powerful as to change the way one thinks. Describe an experience where your personal interaction with a work of art, object, image or space effected this type of change in your thinking.

6. Explain how and why your life has been significantly influenced by a person (living or dead), an event or by a particular book.

7. Create your own topic.
