What? Calling all undergraduate students with research results to present their work on December 3-4, 2009. All majors and disciplines are welcome and research is defined to include scholarly and creative work in all fields of study at Texas State University.

Who? Any undergraduate student may request a spot for an oral presentation, a poster presentation or both. Only poster presentations will be judged and are eligible for prizes. First place poster prize is $150 and the second place price is $100.
When? Oral presentations will be scheduled throughout the day on 12/03 and 12/04. The poster presentations will be 2:00 – 5:00 PM on December 04, 2009 and students will need to be present to answer questions and present their posters. Refreshments will be served.
Where? University Honors spaces in Lampasas building will be used for the posters and oral presentations will be held in LAMP 502B.
How? To submit an abstract of your work for the event, complete the downloadable form and email to honors@txstate.edu or fill out the online application. Posters will be allotted a space of 3 x 5 feet unless other arrangements are made. A laptop and LCD projector will be available for oral presentations and these should be e-mailed in advance so that we can have them loaded onto the computer or other arrangements made.
Why? The conference is a great way to learn about research at Texas State, to practice presenting your work to others, and to compete for cash prizes.
