The Honors Contract allows an Honors student to enroll for a 3000 or 4000-level non-Honors course, complete additional work that represents a qualitative enhancement to the existing course, and have the completed course with contracted work count as one course towards the minimum number of courses required to graduate in The University Honors Program. Students should have already taken two honors classes or at least be enrolled in their second honors course. Honors Contracts must be turned in by the fourth week of the semester (during the fall/spring) and by the end of the first week of the semester (summer courses) and approval is at the discretion of the Director of the University Honors Program.
