New students from all fields are welcome and encouraged join. Anyone with an interest in history and a desire to actively participate in the History Club should contact one of the officers.
My name is Mark Esquivel and I am the President of the Texas State University History Club. I am a music education major with a minor in Latin music, but I have a passion for helping others learn more about what history has given us. I believe that history is not simply what has happened in the past, but a roadmap to the future. It is this belief that led me to take on the role as President of the History Club. As Club President, I hope to guide the organization in a direction that will benefit the History Department, as well as anyone who decides to become a part of this great organization. It is my goal to ensure that regardless of educational background, academic interests, or current major, the History Club will have a place for anyone wishing to share their love of history.
