Dennis J. Dunn is professor of history and director of international studies. He teaches courses on Russia, East Europe, world affairs, world history, Western civilization, and international relations. He was a visiting fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1975-76, a Ford Foundation Fellow in 1975-77, a research fellow at Centre d'études sur l'U.R.S.S. et l'Europe Orientales (Ècole pratique des hautes études, Paris, 1978-79 and1983-84, .a Pacific Cultural Foundation Fellow in 1982, and a visiting scholar at the Kennan Institute for Advanced Russian Studies in 1982 and 1984.
He also received grants from the U.S. Department of Education's International Studies and Foreign Language Program in 1992-94 and 2003-5 and from the Canadian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Trade in 2003 and 2004.
