Vision
The vision of Texas State University
for the Freeman Ranch is for the ranch to be
recognized as a unique model educational and
research facility where principles of range land
ecology and management are developed and
practiced as collaborative stewardship.
Mission
The mission of the Freeman Ranch is to
be a model Texas Hill Country working ranch that
supports education, research, and service needs
of the Texas State University community.
