The meeting was called to order by Chair Hays at 4:00 p.m.

LIBRARY ACQUISITIONS (MILLS)

Mills reported that the software used by the library to manage acquisitions
requested by departments works pretty well for doing the things that library
personnel need to do. But it does not allow individuals, such as faculty or
departmental representatives, to track departmental request/purchases online.
Mills can run reports and provide paper copies on demand or periodically.

The senate referred the issue to the Library Committee, meeting tomorrow,
to see if there is some way, such as adding one or more department codes
to the subject field of each acquisition, to allow departmental tracking
of acquisitions.

SET PAAG AGENDA (HAYS)

President Supple and VPAA Gratz will be invited to set their own agenda.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES (EARLY)

Skerpan-Wheeler/Gillis 8-0.
