University Emergency

Texas State students, faculty, and staff affected by the recent floods and are in need of housing, please click this banner.

Texas State is aware that students, faculty and staff members may have been displaced as a result of the recent floods. Some temporary accommodations are available on campus at Bobcat Village.  If you require housing assistance, please proceed to the Bobcat Village apartments office, located on Aquarena Springs Drive, across from the Bobcat Stadium; some form of personal identification will be required. Specific contact information is posted on the Bobcat Village Office Door.  The apartments are fully furnished, however, please bring bedding, linens, etc. with you.  Be sure to also bring any personal items you may need (toiletries, medication, etc.).  Please note that pets are not allowed.

If you reside in an apartment complex and have been asked to evacuate or have to relocate temporarily due to damage, you are encouraged to also contact your apartment management office to determine if alternative arrangements can be made through your management.

If you are uncertain about whether your apartment complex has been affected, please contact your complex; the City of San Marcos authorities may provide additional information which can be found by visiting the City’s website at http://www.ci.san-marcos.tx.us, then clicking on the banner at the top of the page.
