Use and Priorities Fees

A.        Room Rental Fees

 

Room rental fees are based on priority level and posted building hours

 

B.        Room Set-up Fees

 

Setup is defined as any alteration requested in a standard room setup or a specific room setup requested in rooms that are not a standard set.

 

C.        Overtime Charges

 

Overtime charges are defined as hours prior to or beyond posted building hours of operation. A copy of the building hours is available in the Reservations Office, Student Center Services. No events will be scheduled prior to 6:00 a.m. or beyond 2:00 a.m.

 

D.        Priorities

 

Priority I:   Student-related functions and activities: LBJ Student Center sponsored events, official student events, registered student organizations, presidential functions.

 

Room Rental Fee:                           No Charge

Setup Fees:                                      No charge unless a standard room setup is altered

Equipment Rental:                          See Attachment II

Overtime Charges:                          $  25 per hour

Teaching Theater:                           $  20 per hour technical assistant fee, as required

 

Priority II:  Departmental Events

 

Room Rental Fee:                           No charge for meeting rooms

Teaching Theater:                     $  50 flat rate

Setup Fees:                                      No charge for meeting rooms unless standard setup is altered

      Ballroom                                      $  50 flat rate

      Ballroom A or B                          $  25 flat rate

      Multipurpose Room                   $  25 flat rate

Overtime Charges:                          $  25 per hour

Teaching Theater:                           $  20 per hour technical assistant fee, as required

 

Priority III:  Individual Students and Texas State Personnel

 

            Room Rental Fee:              

Standard Meeting Rooms        $  25 each

Ballroom                                      $200 flat rate

Teaching Theater                      $200 flat rate

Multipurpose Room                   $  50 flat rate

Setup Fees:                                      No charge for meeting rooms unless standard setup is altered

Ballroom                                      $   50

Multipurpose Room                   $   25

Technical Assistance:                     $   20 per hour

Overtime Fee:                                   $   25 per hour

 

Priority IV: Professional Conferences or Professional Development Programs for Non-Texas State Persons Hosted by University Departments

 

Room Rental Fee:

Standard Meeting Rooms        $  25 flat rate per day

Multipurpose Room                   $  25 flat rate per day

Ballroom                                      $200 flat rate per day

Teaching theater                        $100 flat rate per day

Setup Fees:                                      No Charge for standard meeting rooms unless standard setup is altered

Ballroom                                      $  50

Multipurpose Room                   $  25

Technical Assistance:                     $  20 per hour

Overtime Fee:                                   $  25 per hour

 

Priority V:  Groups unaffiliated with the University sponsored by a student organization or University Department

 

Room Rental Fee:  

Standard Meeting Rooms        $  50 flat rate

Ballroom (2 hr minimum)         $100 per hour

                                                      *$800 24-hr hold

Multipurpose Room                   $100 flat rate

Teaching Theater                      $250 flat rate

Setup Fees:                                      No charge for standard meeting rooms unless standard setup is altered

Ballroom                                      $  50 flat rate

Ballroom A or B                          $  25 flat rate

Multipurpose Room                   $  25 flat rate

Priority VI:   Off-Campus Users

 

Room Rental Fee:

Large Meeting Rooms              $100 flat rate

(Over 50 people)

Medium Meeting Rooms          $  75 flat rate

(Over 20 less than 50 people)

Small Meeting Rooms              $  50 flat rate

(Less than 20 people)

Ballroom                                      $125 per hour (2 hr minimum)

                                                         OR                     $1000 24-hr hold

Multipurpose Room                   $200 flat rate

Teaching Theater                      $500 flat rate

Ballroom                                      $100 flat rate

Ballroom A or B                          $  50 flat rate
