NOMINATION, SELECTION AND AWARD TIMELINE
February 15 Chair of the selection committee sends all academic and staff administrators a letter about the award, the criteria, and required documentation, and encourages them to submit nominations.
February 28 Email to Equity and Access committee to get nominations in. Notice sent to Deans and VP’s – generate outreach invitation.
February Take letter of award and ask for nominations during the February Equity and Access committee meeting.
March 30 The chair of the selection committee must receive nominations according to the criteria provided by the committee. Submissions should be reviewed for completion.
April 21 The selection committee will review all nominations and submit these to the full Equity and Access Committee who will select a first, second, and third choice for each category.
June 1 The chair will submit the choices to the president via the provost.
August 15 The president will notify the award recipients and send an administrative memo to the university community announcing the recipients.
