Full time doctoral students (those taking 9 credit hours in the Fall or Spring) are eligible to participate in the Graduate Assistantship program.
The purpose of the graduate assistantship program is to provide doctoral students with financial support in order to help them obtain their educational objectives, and to provide them with professional experience that will assist them in launching and furthering their careers.
Graduate assistants work 20 hours per week and are appointed for 9 months. Recipients will be eligible for summer employment based upon departmental need and available funding. Applicants may indicate a doctoral faculty member with whom they would like to work. Every effort is made to honor those requests and/or to match graduate assistants with doctoral program faculty who have similar research or career interests; however, no guarantees can be made.
A graduate assistant application may be downloaded in Microsoft Word format (doc) or PDF format. A free Adobe Acrobat Reader is required in order to view PDF documents.
