The MA in Developmental and Adult Education is an academically rigorous and student focused program, designed for individuals working in or aspiring to work in adult education or developmental education programs in diverse settings including postsecondary education, community-based organizations, government agencies, and business and industry. We are committed to preparing reflective practitioners who teach, develop, and manage educational programs, and conduct applied research for the improvement of practice. In addition to a common core curriculum, we offer specialized curricular tracks for individuals working in or interested in working in adult literacy and English as a Second Language, continuing and community education, or developmental education and learning assistance.
