Dr. Michelle Lane is a woman on a mission. As an associate professor of nutrition and foods at Texas State University, her work focuses on stopping the metastasis of colon cancer, exposing this killer disease at the molecular level. Long fascinated by the potency and developmental functions of Vitamin A, she is one of the only researchers in the world studying why retinol, the dietary form of Vitamin A, stops the spread of colon cancer.
