KERRVILLE FOLK FESTIVAL STUDENT SONGWRITER COMPETITION

In partnership with the nationally recognized Kerrville Folk Festival, the CTMH organizes an annual student songwriter competition. Students sign up on a first-come, first-served basis, and perform for each other and the general public. Industry professionals evaluate songs for lyrics, melody and overall construction. The winner has the opportunity to perform alongside name acts at the festival.
