Regular Submission Guidelines
We now accept electronic submissions via Submittable.
Please read the guidelines listed under the appropriate genre and upload your submission as a Word-compatible file (.doc, .docx, or .rtf) or PDF. There is no fee to submit. Include contact information, a brief bio, and list of publications with your submission.
We accept submissions of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction (general interest and literary criticism) year-round. We ask that you please wait to hear back from us on your initial submission before sending work to us again. Previously published material of any kind, in print or online, will not be considered. Contributors receive 2 copies of the issue in which their work appears. Sample back issues are available for $11. Our standard response time is 2 to 4 months, but we may take as long as 6 months. Please feel free to e-mail the editors (firstname.lastname@example.org) after 6 months to check on the status of your work.
Simultaneous submissions are okay as long as you notify us immediately upon acceptance of your work elsewhere.
