1. Mr. Dewey Poteet is a staff attorney with the Texas Youth Council. He has also worked for the law firm of Aiken, Gump, Strauss, Hower & Feld and has delivered seminars and workshops in the area of public personnel administration.
2. Ms. Sheila Gladstone, attorney at law is a specialist in the area of employment law and personnel administration. She has delivered training programs in the area of human relations training and sexual harassment.
3. 1. Dr. Howard R. Balanof is currently the William P.Hobby Professor of Public Service. He is also the Director of the William P. Hobby Center for Public Service and the Texas CPM Program.
4. Mr. Bob Williams is an adjunct professor at Texas State University. He is also the former director of economic development at the Lower Colorado River Authority and the former mayor of the City of Leon Valley.

1. Dr. Ken Matwiczak is a Senior Lecturer at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. He specializes in management training such as decision-making and project management. He is also the Coordinator of the CPM Program at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
2. Mr. Gary Coe, Manager, Brackenridge Hospital, Austin Texas is a specialist in management issues and ethics. He has prepared and delivered education programs to public and private sector clients such as the Texas Rehabilitation Commission and Motorola University.
3. Dr. Suzette Ashworth is former Director of Quality Assurance for the Texas Department of Human Services. She is currently President of a consulting company, which specializes in training and management development.

3. Mr. Bijan Afkami, President, SynEm Leadership Center in Austin, Texas delivers training sessions and workshops in the area of improving communication skills. His clients include Motorola University.

1. Ms. Leita Hart, CPA, CGFM is a public finance, budgeting and management consultant. Her clients include both state and local governments including the Texas Rehabilitation Commission and the Texas Department of Health.
2. Mr. David MacCabe, Director for Internal Auditing, Texas Teacher Retirement System (TRS). Mr. MacCabe, a specialist in the area of internal auditing has conducted numerous audits in the public sector.
3. Mr. Mario Espinosa, Program Manager for the Lower Colorado River Authority & former Senior Analyst, City of Austin Electric Utility Department. Mr. Espinosa has delivered lectures and seminars on public sector accounting and financial reporting.

1. Dr. Jeannete Cates is a specialist in information systems education. She is President of Tech Tamers, an Information Systems Consulting Firm located in Austin, Texas
2. Dr. Hassan Tajalli is currently a professor in the Texas State MPA Program. He has had extensive experience in using computers for data analysis and report generation.

TRACK 7: Applied Projects Practicum

CPM Participants will present their preliminary project and papers to the class in a 10-15 minute presentation.
